Vision

Sri Jagannath Society of Greater Chicago believes that Lord Jagannath is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. We are a part and parcel of the Supreme Personality and HE is the whole in original form. Therefore every living being has a loving relationship with Him. Our intrinsic propensity is to serve HIM. The organization’s vision is to create an environment where this propensity has a chance to grow with HIS blessings. Our endeavor towards the ritualistic worship or community or philanthropic activities are different forms of “Sadhana” towards the vision. In this selfless service (“Sadhana”) there is no color, caste, religious barrier at all. We all depend on HIM for our very existence. Hence there is no barrier of wealth or any other material power. Each and every one has free access to this in a service attitude. We believe that our eternal souls make us natural servitor of Lord Jagannath. Love is spontaneous and it grows if there is no barrier with proper environment and HIS Blessings.
