Sri Jagannath Society of Greater Chicago is non-profit organization to practice and promote Shri Jagannath culture and philanthropic services. It runs with the financial support of its benevolent members and donors. Members volunteer to manage the activities through various committees. Membership is open to all who are devoted and self-motivated for the noble cause irrespective of color, creed, nationality, or sex. Anyone interested to become a member of this august organization needs to fill out the membership form. SJSGC Bylaw has defined three types of members:

Annual Member (Individual):
An individual who donates $200 in a year is considered as annual member for that calendar year.

Annual Member (Family):
A family (Two adults) who donate $300 in a year, both are considered as annual members for that calendar year.

Patron Member:
A family (two adults) or individual who donates either $5000 once or $6,000 over a period of ten years is considered as Patron member for the life of the member(s). Discontinuation of annual donation ($600) prior to paying the full amount invalidates the membership.

Benefactor Member:
A family (two adults) or individual who donates either $8000 once or $10,000 over period of ten years is considered as Benefactor member for the life of the member(s). Discontinuation of annual donation($1000) prior to paying the full amount invalidates the membership.
Membership shall remain in effect as long as the member remains in good standing, and abides by the Articles and Bylaws, unless disapproved by the Board of Trustees. Members should be at least 18 years old. -
