Samarpana is the annual fundraising offering of Sri Jagannath Temple, performed in the spirit of bhakti, seva, and samarpanā, humble surrender at the lotus feet of Jagannath Mahāprabhu. It is a sacred occasion where devotees gather not for entertainment, but to participate in collective service (samuhika seva) for the sustenance and growth of the Mahāprabhu’s temple, which is the spiritual heart of our community.

Rooted in Odia Sanskruti and timeless Sanātana traditions, Samarpana reflects the values of devotion, simplicity, and togetherness. Devotional and cultural presentations inspired by our heritage are offered as seva reminding us that all nourishment comes from Him. The gathering provides an opportunity for devotees to deepen their understanding of the temple’s spiritual mission, its role in preserving our culture, and its future vision.

Through sincere participation and generous dāna, devotees support the daily worship and operations of the temple and contribute toward the long-term goal of developing a fully established temple with traditional architecture, in accordance with sacred customs. Samarpana is an expression of collective faith and responsibility—“Sevā hi paramo dharmaḥ”—ensuring that Sri Jagannath Temple continues to flourish as a center of devotion, culture, and spiritual refuge for generations to come.

Details regarding the festival timings, special rituals, and the complete program schedule will be announced in the coming weeks. Devotees are kindly requested to check the temple website and official communications for upcoming updates.

Jai Jagannath 🙏
