The deities leave the Gundicha Temple and return to the Jagannath Temple. 

The chariots stop at the Mausi Maa Temple, where the deities pay homage to Goddess Ardhashini. The deities are offered a special cake called Poda Pitha at the Mausimaa Mandir. They are also dressed in golden attire, known as the suna besa, and offered sweet drinks.
