 all ages and communities in Odisha.\n\nPana Sankranti is traditionally cal
 led as "Maha Bishuba Sankranti".  This day retains the age-old tradition 
 of distribution of homemade ‘Pana’- a traditional Odia beverage prepar
 ed with wood apple\, fruits\, sweets and sugar or molasses.
